As the summer wanes help us celebrate local foods and farmers. The Saranac Lake Farm 2 Fork festival is September 4th. Monday August 30th till the festival we will be offering breakfast, lunch and dinner specials featuring the local goodness available in the region. We will also offer special pricing on our summer wines, beers and cheeses as we prepare to chgange our menus for the fall.

Our summer staff is leaving, the colleges are starting up, it must be Sept.

Block Party was a great success yesterday. Lots of families strolling, visiting most of the businesses on Main St. Our Happy Hours for August start this week enjoy some steamed clams or cheese plates  with  specials Blue Radler and Mimosa specials  from 3 – 6 pm daily

The Referees had a great start to the tournament with breakfast today. Good Luck to the  ”Old Boys” on day 1 of the competition.

We are open till 10:00 PM tonight so stop in for a meal or to cool off in the new air conditioned Back room with a beer or glass of wine!

The largest rugby tournament in North America returns to Saranac Lake this week. Teams from around the world will compete, and a grand time will be had by all! Thank you to Can am rugby and the hosting club, the Saranac Lake Mountaineers for pulling this event together.

Now that the A/C  is up and running, we can invite you in for an afternoon break. A snack and a beer, a blue radler, a cold crisp Italian white or a Torrontes from Argentina.  Different specials each day.  The current list of  happy hours is attached to the specials page.

It’s official the Blue Moon Cafe is now air conditioned, of course that means the temp for the remainder of the summer will probably average about 65 degrees F. In any case , stop in and chill @ the back of the blue!
